2024 Fall Fundraising

Your tax deductible gift benefits your child’s education by providing enrichment opportunities and teacher grants. Last year, the PTA provided after-school enrichment scholarships and hosted several community events, including movie nights, the Talent Show, and the School Dance. We sponsored affinity group events, including World Night, Game Night, and more. In years past, we have purchased gym and playground equipment and projectors, among many other things.

  • Fund our library and provide library fair vouchers for students.
  • Provide teacher grants to each class for discretionary spending.
  • Pay for educational enrichment inside and outside the classroom, including field trips and after-school enrichment clubs.
  • Grant scholarships for students to participate in extracurricular activities.
  • Support Parkwood families in need with school supplies, winter coats, and donations to The Works.

  1. Fundraising.
For some, just the thought of asking for things can create anxiety. You may have tried many avenues: bake sales, auctions, spaghetti dinners, car washes, rummage sales, fun runs, donations, or membership dues. Asking for money or getting items donated, looking for volunteers, organizing any special event is a chore and very time consuming. If you are looking for a new revenue idea to compliment your donation requests, I am reaching out to you about a new and unique FUN-raiser.
After retiring last year, I still wanted to give back. Having served as a volunteer and directing several 501c3 since 1979 and been involved in Bingo since 1981 found a unique way to combine them. Knowing the difficulties that nonprofits have in fundraising, we have a new activity by bringing bingo to a specific site.
Recently the WA State Gambling Commission started to allow a nonprofit to bring equipment to any location. Previously, one had to go to a bingo hall or a building holding a bingo license. Bingo-2Go was started to benefit charities by bringing the equipment to a site of their choice, where the members and public could more easily attend an event closer to home.
We hold a state business license and a license from WA State Gambling Commission to provide onsite bingo events as fundraisers for 501c3 nonprofits and charities.
We have recently held fundraisers for JR League of Tacoma, and planned events after the holidays with Mountlake Terrace HS, Hilltop Elementary, Bothell High School, West Side Improvement in Bremerton, and Stilly Senior Center. We could help a nonprofit such as yours aid in your budget to increase your programs and projects.
If you would provide contact info for the fundraising chair, we can come present to the board and show how a fun event for another revenue stream can help in your program goals. Attached is a (safe) word doc flyer for more info and look forward to any info you can provide. Our website is Bingo-2Go .
Thank you for your time, and we look forward to assisting you reach your financial goals.
